Your GoMo SIM is automatically set up for roaming within the EU. With the GoMo plan and “Roam Like at Home,” you can use roaming services for calls, messages, and a part of your data allowance in EU countries at no additional cost, just as if you were in Cyprus. If you are traveling to a non-EU country, you can view the charges here. 

If you are travelling in an EU country, you will not be charged for receiving calls – just like when you are in Cyprus. With the GoMo plan and “Roam Like at Home”, you can use roaming services in the EU for calls, messages, and part of your data without additional cost, just like if you were in Cyprus. However, if you are travelling in a Non-EU destination, charges will apply depending on the country.

When travelling in European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) countries, you can use your mobile phone without roaming charges. The “Roam Like at Home” policy applies in 29 EU countries and EEA countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Denmark, Greece, Estonia, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Croatia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Monaco, Moldova and Ukraine. 

You do not need to set anything up. Roam Like at Home will be automatically activated when you travel abroad to EU countries. 

No, there will be no additional cost. Under the Roam Like at Home policy, you can make calls from one EU country to another without extra charges. 

No, there will be no charge in this case. 

No, calls made from Cyprus to other countries are considered international calls and are charged separately. Roam Like at Home only covers communications (calls, SMS, data) when you are travelling in other EU countries. If you’re calling from Cyprus to another country, including an EU one, it is considered an international call, and charges apply based on our price list. 

If you cannot connect to data while roaming: 

• Check data settings to ensure your data roaming is enabled. 

• If you are roaming outside the EU, make sure you have accepted all relevant T&C’s when prompted. 

To use roaming, you must activate the service before entering areas of the Republic of Cyprus outside the effective control of the Government. 

You can activate it by: 

1. Sending an SMS with “ROC ON” to 8040
2. Using your MyGoMo account, under “Account Details”, and selecting “Manage Mobile Services”.

When you return to areas controlled by the Government, you must deactivate the service to avoid additional charges.

You can deactivate it by: 

1. Sending an SMS with “ROC OFF” to 8040.
2. Using your MyGoMo account, under “Account Details”, and selecting “Manage Mobile Services”.
