To use roaming, you must activate the service before entering areas of the Republic of Cyprus outside the effective control of the Government. 

You can activate it by: 

1. Sending an SMS with “ROC ON” to 8040
2. Using your MyGoMo account, under “Account Details”, and selecting “Manage Mobile Services”.

When you return to areas controlled by the Government, you must deactivate the service to avoid additional charges.
